Rip off

Update v1.1.4. Same situation. Same problems, no solutions. If you are okay with endless grinding, this game can be fun. Otherwise, prepare to have your money solicited on a frequent basis.

Original review: This game has a lot going for it: vibrant imagery, a TON of upgrade capabilities, and a lot of characters. However, the developers have made it impossible to progress in this game without spending meaningful amounts of money (>50$). Everyone needs to make money, but the worry is that they are willing to change the rules of the game midstream and possibly invalidate the money you have already spent.

I had upgraded my characters prior to the change, but each subsequent change makes it worse and worse.

Save your money and time, find another game that will reward your loyalty.
